Community & Events
In conjunction with other businesses and the high school in town, Salmon Pottery co-ordinates an Empty Bowls event with all proceeds going to our local food pantry. We make 200 bowls that are sold and filled with delicious soups and bread made by area restaurants and bakeries, with cookies made by the local churches. Taking the bowl home reminds you that there are hungry people in our community. The event is a celebration of working together and helping one another in our village.
The 2023 Empty Bowls event raised over $6,000 for the Trumansburg Food Pantry.
